Myeongly (“we”, “our”, or “us”) provides a Korean astrology (Saju) reading service. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable privacy laws.

We collect the following data to provide personalized astrology readings:

• Date of birth (year, month, day)
• Time of birth (optional)
• Birth city / location (for longitude calculation)
• Anonymous authentication identifier
• Subscription status (free or premium)

We do not collect your real name, email address, or phone number unless you voluntarily contact us.

• Calculate your Saju (Four Pillars) chart based on birth data
• Generate AI-powered astrology readings via Gemini AI
• Cache calculation results to improve performance
• Process subscription payments through RevenueCat

Your data is stored securely on Supabase (hosted on AWS). Saju calculation results are cached permanently for performance. AI-generated reports are cached for 30 days. All data transmission is encrypted via TLS.

We use the following third-party services:

• Supabase — Authentication and data storage
• Google Gemini AI — Astrology report generation
• RevenueCat — Subscription management
• Nominatim (OpenStreetMap) — City search and geocoding

Each service processes data according to their own privacy policies. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function.

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access — Request a copy of your personal data
• Rectification — Correct inaccurate data
• Erasure — Request deletion of all your data
• Portability — Receive your data in a portable format
• Restriction — Limit how we process your data
• Objection — Object to data processing

You can request complete deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. To do so:

• Go to Profile → Contact Us and request account deletion
• Or email us directly at [email protected]

We will process your deletion request within 30 days. This will permanently remove your birth data, Saju calculations, AI reports, and subscription records from our systems.

• Saju calculation cache — Retained until account deletion
• AI reports — Automatically deleted after 30 days
• Authentication data — Retained until account deletion
• Subscription records — Retained as required by law

Myeongly is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us for immediate deletion.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
