A clearer way into saju.
Myeongly publishes English-language guides to Korean saju for readers who are starting with the basics.
What you can do here
Learn how the Four Pillars are arranged, locate a Day Master, count visible elements and follow a fictional worked example. The public guides need no birth information, payment or account. The home page is the starting point for a free personal reading. Calculation availability is shown on the form; the guides and worked example remain readable without submitting personal details.
Our aim is to make unfamiliar vocabulary understandable while keeping its limits visible. A traditional interpretation is not a verified description of a person or proof of a future event.
Who is responsible
The guides are published under the Myeongly name. Questions about this website, editorial corrections and privacy can be sent to [email protected]. This site does not claim an academic affiliation or an independently certified panel of saju experts.
Software and AI tools assist drafting and development. The experimental personal-reading text is selected by editorial rules, not generated through a live AI call. Neither tool assistance nor a successful calculation test establishes that a traditional interpretation is true. Independent domain review and a structured English-reader study have not been completed.
Three kinds of statements
- Chart observations: where a character appears, its conventional element label and a count of displayed symbols. Worked examples show enough intermediate steps for a reader to check these observations.
- Traditional interpretations: meanings associated with symbols or relationships. These are presented as cultural vocabulary and qualified interpretations, not measured personality traits.
- Editorial reflections: questions and everyday exercises. Readers are invited to compare them with experience and reject what does not fit.
We do not turn a visible element count into a strength score, a diagnosis, a guaranteed event or a recommendation to buy a remedy. We do not infer a reader’s relationship status, income, health or lifespan from a chart.
Examples, sources and corrections
The worked chart comes from a fixed fictional test case in the local Myeongly calculation engine. Its inputs, characters and counting steps are stated on the page. It is not a customer story, testimonial or independent validation of the engine.
Where an article uses an external reference, the link identifies the material being discussed. A source describing traditional vocabulary does not validate predictions. Dates indicate the stated article or policy update, not an expert endorsement.
To report an error, send the page URL, the specific passage, why you think it is incorrect and a reference if available. Do not send your own or another person’s birth details. Confirmed corrections should change the affected explanation, example and metadata together. We do not promise a correction deadline before examining the issue.
Privacy and the separate Android service
The web guides currently run without advertising or analytics scripts. The privacy page describes the web’s behavior first and labels the separate Android policy. App payments, advertising and account tools are not features of these guides.
